Ava and Georgia travelled to the Netherlands as part of the U16 England Girls team to take part in the 8 Nations.
Their U16 England squad had a successful tournament, placing 4th. They faced Poland in their first pool game and had a convincing 3-0 win. They then faced Belgium, and they narrowly lost 2-3. Their final pool game was against Scotland, and they won 3-1.
They drew Germany in the semis, and despite the 0-5 loss, it was a hard-fought match with the score 0-0 until around the 48 minute. They then met Belgium again in the 3rd/4th play-offs and, despite being the first to score, they lost 1-4.
Both girls currently play for TBBHC Ladies 1st XI and were part of the successful U16 team last season, having come through TBBHC JTC and the Bath TA.
An amazing experience and achievement by both girls, and we look forward to following their international careers in the future.
